Sad news has shaken the Love & Hip Hop community — Masika Kalysha’s husband, Jamar Champ, has reportedly passed away following a tragic car accident.

Masika, who shares a daughter named Amari with Champ, took to social media to express her devastation. The reality star and entrepreneur also shares her oldest daughter, Khari, with rapper Fetty Wap.
“God woke me up at 2:00 a.m.… I couldn’t sleep. I didn’t know why. Jesus Christ, I received the worst news of my life. Pray for me and my kids, please,” Masika wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
She also posted a brief but emotional message to Instagram, writing:
“Pray for me and my babies.”
Masika and Jamar tied the knot in 2021, but court records show she filed for an annulment in January 2024. It’s unclear if the process was ever finalized before his passing.
Jamar, a former college football player turned entrepreneur, was reportedly a loving father figure not only to his daughter with Masika but also to Khari, her daughter from a previous relationship.
