Lil Jon, 54, Wins 3rd Place in Muscle Beach Fitness Competition <>SK

Lil Jon is turning heads for more than just his music these days—he’s proving age ain’t nothing but a number when it comes to fitness.

On Monday (Sept. 1), the “Turn Down for What” rapper made his official fitness competition debut at the annual Muscle Beach Championship in Venice Beach, Los Angeles. Competing in the Men’s Physique Master’s Over 45 category, the 54-year-old flexed his hard-earned gains and walked away with 3rd place.

Jon’s personal trainer, Jay Galvin, celebrated the achievement on Instagram, posting a photo of the hip-hop star rocking his medal:

“My bro @liljon came straight off a plane to his first show ever @musclebeachvenice and took 3rd place!!!!”

For Jon, though, the real win goes beyond trophies.

“It’s been a lot physically, just in the gym, dedication, eating, focus. I’m winning just by being here and changing my lifestyle, mentally and physically,” he told reporters.

He added: “One of the things I hope is that I can be an inspiration to so many people who say, ‘Oh, I don’t have time. I can’t do it.’ If I can do it, then you can do it too.”

The Muscle Beach Championship draws athletes from across the globe to compete in bodybuilding, physique, bikini, and wellness categories. Over the past year, Lil Jon has been sharing his health journey online, from intense workouts to meditation sessions, showing fans a whole new side of the King of Crunk.
