Mya Lesnar has been trending all week after she won the NCAA outdoor shot put championship.

Lesnar did it on her first throw of the final. Lesnar’s throw traveled 19.01 meters, which is still short of her personal best.

She started her career at Arizona State before transferring to Colorado State in 2023, where she’s won the 2024 indoor shot put championship and now the 2025 outdoor.

Her accomplishments have even garnered the attention of the President.

Trump took to social media to give a shout-out to the daughter of WWE wrestling icon Brock Lesnar.

Trump, who is in the WWE Hall of Fame, congratulated Colorado State’s Mya Lesnar, who won the NCAA shot put title with a throw of 19.01 meters earlier this month.

Mya Lesnar, the daughter of WWE legend and former UFC champion Brock Lesnar, earned the NCAA Division I women’s shot put crown last week.

The Colorado State senior added to her already impressive resume by winning the indoor title in the 2023-24 season.

“It was pretty cool. Obviously, throws like that don’t happen often. To do it on my first one is pretty cool,” Lesnar said after the meet.

“It meant more to me to do it on the first one and start the competition strong.”

Earlier this season, Lesnar threw a career-best 19.60 meters, or 64’3.75.”

Her feat is in the record books, as it is currently the seventh-longest throw by a woman this year.

Mya Lesnar has been named to both the indoor and outdoor All-Mountain West teams in each of the last three years.
