Michael Jordan had zero doubts when naming one 'special' talent from the new generation of NBA players and he's already dismantled Steph Curry

MJ had his say on modern-day basketball and the new generation of talent coming through.

Michael Jordan once expressed his views on an up and coming rising star of the NBA who has recently made history with his side.

MJ is one of basketball’s all-time greats and is arguably the sport’s GOAT following a legendary spell with the Chicago Bulls which saw him transcend the sport and enter mainstream culture.

The now-retired Jordan, who last played in 2003 after ending his career with the Washington Wizards, is a six-time NBA champion following his time with the Bulls, also being crowned the MVP in the NBA Finals a total of six times.

Jordan, now aged 62 and who been retired for more than two decades, was also named the NBA’s Most Valuable Player overall on five occasions.

Jordan’s huge reach off the court came through his partnership with Nike on the Air Jordan trainers, and his exploits on the big screen by appearing in the 1996 film Space Jam.

The play-offs of the 2025 NBA season are currently taking place and one player in particular is catching the eye and receiving big praise for his exploits on the court.

Anthony Edwards is just 23 years of age, but has recently become only the sixth player in NBA history to score 1,000 play-off points before reaching 24.

The other five players which comprise this list includes Kobe Bryant, Tony Parker, LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Jayson Tatum.
