Miley Cyrus was forced to make a hilarious confession about her virginity – eight years after pulling a white lie.
Cyrus and 35-year-old Hemsworth met on the set of the 2010 movie The Last Song, and having starred in the romantic film together, it trickled its way into real life.
Concerned Hemsworth, who was 19 at the time, would consider her a ‘loser’, Cyrus told him she’d already lost her virginity to someone else.
“I couldn’t think of anyone so I just made somebody up that I knew but we’d never actually had sex before,” she said.
While appearing as a guest on the hit Call Her Daddy podcast with host Alex Cooper, the 32-year-old admitted that she had lied to her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth about having sex with a guy she met – while never telling him about a hook-up she had with her girl friends years earlier.
She ‘held on’ to the lie for nearly 10 years, but was forced to own up when one of Hemsworth’s friends ended up marrying the man she claimed to have lost her virginity to.

“So then [Hemsworth] was like, ‘Now my friend is marrying someone you’ve hooked up with’,” Cyrus recalled. “So then ― when I was like 24 ― I had to say that I lied when I was 16.”
But that wasn’t the only thing she kept quiet.

She also spoke about her love life and explained that she was actually ‘attracted to girls way before [she] was ever attracted to guys’.
Cyrus continued: “I was like 11 or 12, my friends were starting to tell me what they were doing with guys and I didn’t really understand it ― so I got most of my girlfriends to hook up with me.”
“The first time I ever hooked up with anyone was with a girl — two of them,” Cyrus revealed.

The ‘Wrecking Ball’ hitmaker explained that these hookups went ‘past first base’, and revealed while on the podcast that she ‘didn’t go all the way with a dude’ until she was 16 years old.
“But I ended up marrying the guy, so that’s pretty crazy,” she continued.
Cyrus and Hemsworth went on to get married in 2018, but ultimately split less than a year later as a representative said they wanted to ‘focus on themselves and careers’.

Prison Break star Purcell, 54, tied the knot with 56-year-old Tish Cyrus last August, just over a year after Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus announced their separation following 30 years together.
A few months before the wedding, an insider told Us Weekly things ‘couldn’t be going better’ for Tish and Dominic, adding that the mom felt like she had ‘found her soulmate’.

Claims about Dominic and Noah Cyrus emerge
Less than a year into Dominic and Tish’s marriage, allegations emerged that he had been romantically involved with her daughter, 24-year-old Noah, before he and Tish got together.
An insider made the claims to People, saying: “Noah and Dominic were seeing each other in a friends with benefits way, off and on. They stopped seeing each other and then Tish started something up.”
The 24-year-old was notably absent from Dominic and Tish’s wedding, though another source told Entertainment Tonight that while the reports about Noah and Dominic’s relationship had been ‘exaggerated’, it had caused a rift between her and her mom.

“Noah and Tish haven’t been close since Tish started dating Dominic,” they claimed.
“It’s also been an adjustment for Noah in general for her parents to be divorced. Tish didn’t invite Noah to her wedding because she thought it would cause a scene and drama.”
UNILAD approached Noah, Tish, Dominic and Miley’s reps for comment at the time of the initial reports.
Tish admits to issues in the marriage
Tish chose to open up about her relationship on her Sorry We’re Stoned podcast, when she described Dominic as quite a ‘blunt’ person and admitted she will ‘take things personally’.
However, she continued: “I just feel like instead now of me getting so offended, because I respect and love him, that we have conversations.
“And instead [of] getting so upset and heated about it, and me not taking it personally, just letting him have an opinion. I’ve never been good at that.”
“These are definitely issues,” she continued. “But issues also, because I love him, that I’m dealing with.”

Dominic dismisses ‘nonsense’ online
The Prison Break star has avoided directly addressing the claims made about himself and Noah, but he took to Instagram this week to share a cryptic post which seemingly alludes to the allegations.
He posted a photo of himself looking off to the side, alongside a caption which read: “You don’t sign up for nonsense it just follows you. I sit quietly and observe without response nor interest.”

Comments appear to have been turned off on the post, and Dominic has not made any further allusions to the rumors in his follow-up posts which show him working out in a boxing gym.

While Miley Cyrus may be getting sued for allegedly copying Bruno Mars with her song ‘Flowers’, the ‘unsettling’ reason Liam Hemsworth is her biggest fear has reportedly been revealed.
On Tuesday (September 17), it was revealed the singer is facing a copyright lawsuit over the award-winning ‘Flowers’.
While the ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer is accused of copying Bruno Mars, he is not listed as a plaintiff in the lawsuit.
Instead, the suit was filed by Tempo Music Investments, a company that owns a share of the copyright for Mars’ song ‘When I Was Your Man’.
When the Hannah Montana star released ‘Flowers’ in January of last year, fans were quick to point out similarities to Mars’ hit record.
And some listeners also speculated that Cyrus’ inspiration for the song came from the time after her split with Liam Hemsworth – something which the singer’s sister, Brandi Cyrus, responded to on her podcast.

However, a source claimed to the Daily Mail that Cyrus is not afraid of the lawsuit, though she will find it ‘unsettling’ if she has to reveal the song is allegedly about Hemsworth.
They said: “Miley is not too concerned with the lawsuit itself, but everyone who knows Miley knows that this track was written as a way of healing from Liam.
“She wrote lyrics that were a reaction to Bruno’s lyrics in Your Man, specifically because that was Liam’s song to her.
“She only cared that he knew it was for him. Miley originally wrote it as a slow love ballad not the fast upbeat song that it became.
“She is worried that she will have to reveal her inspiration for writing the song. “While she has no issue stating it was a response to Bruno, revealing it was specifically about Liam publicly and on record is very unsettling.”

TMZ also reports that Tempo Music are alleging ‘Flowers’ is ‘intentionally copying’ ‘When I Was Your Man’ from Mars.
The company is also claiming that the melody, harmony and chorus of the track is ‘substantially similar’ to the verse in Mars’ song.
As per TMZ, the court docs read: “It is undeniable based on the combination and number of similarities between the two recordings that ‘Flowers’ would not exist without ‘When I Was Your Man’.”
The lawsuit also claimed, as seen by Rolling Stone, that ‘Flowers’ duplicates numerous melodic, harmonic, and lyrical elements of ‘When I Was Your Man,’ including the melodic pitch design and sequence of the verse, the connecting bass-line, certain bars of the chorus, certain theatrical music elements, lyric elements, and specific chord progressions’.

Fans of Miley Cyrus are only just realising the ‘Flowers’ singer legally changed her name while still starring on Disney channel.
Miley, the daughter of beloved country singer Billy Ray Cyrus and his ex-wife Tish Cyrus-Purcell, initially rose to fame as Miley Stewart and her pop alter-ego Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel series of the same name.
Following her graduation from the now-defunct kids programme, the 31-year-old has gone on to scoop two Grammy Awards, three MTV VMAs, and a handful of prestigious Spotify Plaques.
Despite having grown up in the public eye, there is seemingly a lot that fans still don’t know about the ‘Party in the USA’ hitmaker.
Surprisingly, one of these information tidbits is that Miley actually changed her name when she was 16.

ET was backstage with the actress during one of her concerts, and asked her what she’d changed her legal name to, to which Miley replied: “Miley. What I’ve always been called, yeah.”
The star then made a vomiting gesture before revealing her true name was Destiny Hope Cyrus.
She joked: “Never again, it doesn’t technically legally count!”

The resurfaced clip and Miley’s confession continues to shock fans to this day, with one X user recently commenting: “Welp. At trivia, I learned that the mustang came out before the Camaro….and Miley Cyrus’s real name is Destiny. WTF.”
A second said: “You’re telling me Miley Cyrus real name is Destiny Hope and not Miley?!?!”
“Yeah Destiny Hope…Miley comes from the nickname Smiley she had as a kid. no idea why I know that,” commented someone else, while a fourth typed: “Miley Cyrus real name being Destiny still tickles me. She looks nothing like a Destiny.”
Another said: “Miley Cyrus’ real name is Destiny Hope and she’s also a Sagittarius and I wanna hug her someday.”
In the clip, Cyrus also revealed that her middle name was Ray ‘just like her dad’.
Turns out ‘Ray’ isn’t actually a tribute to the ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ favourite though.

Instead, it’s to honour her grandfather and late Democratic politician Ronald Ray Cyrus, who died in 2006, two years before his granddaughter’s official name change.
Earlier this summer, the former child star became the youngest person to be honoured with Disney Legend status at the company’s biennial fan convention, D23.
During her acceptance speech, the pop icon said: “I stand here still proud to have been Hannah Montana.
“This award is dedicated to Hannah and all of her amazing, loyal fans, and to everyone who has made my dream a reality.”
Noah Cyrus seems to have put her differences with her mom aside – at least temporarily.
Noah is the youngest daughter of Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus, who divorced in 2022, as well as the sister of Grammy Award-winning singer, Miley.
Tish has since remarried, and wed Prison Break actor Dominic Purcell last summer.
But the newlyweds were recently rocked with reports that Dominic, 54, ‘had a relationship’ with 24-year-old Noah before dating her mom.
“Noah and Dominic were seeing each other in a friends with benefits way, off and on. They stopped seeing each other and then Tish started something up,” an insider told People earlier this year.
Noah was notably absent from the nuptials in August 2023, and doesn’t follow her new stepdad on Instagram.
None of three celebrities have directly dismissed the claims, but Dominic did share a social media post in April speaking out about ‘nonsense’.

Elsewhere, ‘Flowers’ hitmaker Miley is said to have ‘confronted’ her mom about her reported relationship with Noah and Dominic having had no idea about it.
The allegations have undeniably rocked the Cyrus family, but it seemed as if Noah let bygones be bygones to mark her mother’s birthday yesterday (May 13).
Sharing a throwback snap of herself with her mom when she was younger, Noah wrote: “Happy birthday mom.”
Meanwhile, Miley failed to publicly mark Tish’s 57th birthday.

Away from the apparent drama involving Noah, Tish has openly admitted to having to having issues with her new husband.
Speaking on her and other daughter Brandi Cyrus’ podcast, Sorry We’re Stoned back in March, Tish said: “I was so scared when I first met Dom, my husband, which was not that long ago. But it is crazy because I am a Taurus and he is an Aquarius, and every single thing I read said, ‘Don’t even do it. It is the absolute worst pairing’.”
She further noted that she will often ‘take things personally’, while Dominic is quite a ‘blunt’ person – something which doesn’t always bode well for them.
They’ve been working through their problems, however, with Tish saying she’s trying not to get ‘so offended’ by things.
She continued: “Instead [of] getting so upset and heated about it, and me not taking it personally, just letting him have an opinion. I’ve never been good at that.”
