Jeezy’s Baltimore stop on his TM: 101 Live tour almost didn’t happen — but a quick‑thinking Uber driver named Tanner turned into the Snowman’s unlikely hero.
The rapper shared the wild story on social media, explaining how the day started with bad news: all flights to Baltimore and D.C. were canceled due to weather. With no other choice, Jeezy’s team booked a driver to get him there by car.
Two hours into the trip, disaster hit — literally. The vehicle struck an object on the highway, puncturing the gas tank and forcing them to pull over at a small South Carolina gas station.
With time running out, they scrambled for a backup plan. Private jet? Too risky with the weather. So they called an Uber to get them to a rental car spot. But when the Uber driver, Tanner, pulled up, Jeezy decided to shoot his shot.
“I said, ‘Hey, we need to go to Baltimore,’” Jeezy recalled. “I asked how much he’d charge… he replied, ‘Let me think about it.’ I assured him whatever it was, he’d have it.”
Without hesitation, Tanner agreed. Ten hours later — after a straight shot up the East Coast — they pulled into Baltimore just ten minutes before Jeezy was set to hit the stage.
To show his gratitude, Jeezy gave Tanner a Snowman tee, VIP access to the show, and a public shout‑out.
“Shout out to the real MVP, my Uber driver Tanner,” Jeezy wrote. “Not all heroes wear capes.”
